aparently you can do this, has anyone got this done to theirs or know oranyone who has had it done or does actually chip them?

I've heard of it like and I can get the games pretty easily but i have no idea how you get it chipped. Shame cos my m8's wii hasn't impressed me so far with monkeyball or rayman.

there are some canny games kicking about for it, that pirates of the caribbean is canny, as is red steel. its a good laugh when ya have ya mates down with the cans in, makes or a cheap night. the successor to the wii will be amazing, a better gfx card and updated sensor and itle have everything going for it, jsut need some better titles coming out.

The Wii is a horrible excuse for a 'games system' It's basiclly 2 Gamecubes stuck together (check out the spec.) Your far better off getting a Playstation 3 if your serious about gaming

I think people who buy a wii buy it for the concept, not serious gaming.

The Wii is outselling the PS3 by 6 to 1 now so it must be doing something good!

Theyre mint and do the job there supposed to, games dont always have to be serious

i bought a wii for a laugh because the things you do with a wii you cant rally do with the other consoles, plus its a laugh or when the lads come round

he did it when they 1st came out an had to do something with the wires etc inside it but now there's a better way to do it apparently...?

an make sure you use good discs for the game cos he didn't for a few an they don't work half the time.

they're best for when you have a few mates/beers round - waaaaaay better than a ps3 for that plus you get to hit people/stuff when you play it when you're pissed/wrecked

traded in loadsa ps3's at work, so they can get there 360's back, tested a few ps3s and not impressed with what ive played so far, graphics arent even as good as they look when u see the advertisements, the controller feels really really cheap. they are huge as well, no doubt they will get better in the future like but defs not worth the price tag, chipped my wii but just struggling to download some games at the mo because sky are absolutely shit!

I disagree with you mate, i went threw three XBOX 360's in five month as they kept breaking down due to the fact they are made with very cheap shitty parts, especially the DVD-ROM.

Buying a playstation 3 was a very good decision, the graphics are superb, alot better than the 360 & the build quality is tremendous. It's constantly evolving all the time due to frequent free firmware updates witch to be honest make the machine just get better & better with each update. The reason it's so big is because of whats inside, it has 3 main CPU's & 7 RSX virtual reality synthisisers along with 4 internal cooling fans & shit loads of high-tech japanese hardware. Developers havent even begun to harness the power of this machine yet. Fuck the 360.

I got 2 Wii's chipped last night. The newer ones require a lot more messing about with than the older ones for sure. Good job the bloke who done it was top notch

Bought a wii the other day and they are class like. the graphics arent owt special but i dontthink that was ever nintendo's biggest concern. they wanted to make a fun console and they succeeded. On the look out for some decent games now though. Anyone know which ones are the best/most interactive for multiplayers?

aye i heard Tiger Woods was supposed to be good. Hope it meakes good use of the wiimote.
Been looking at Transformers too, looks like it might be better than the usual movie to game crossovers.
