    Cheap ferry deals to Amsterdam

Just pricing up going to watch Sunderland in the Amsterdam tournament at the end of July, i know in the past i have been and paid about £100 for a return trip over though all i can find at the moment is about £300+ for the weekend?

Wheres the best place to go for cheaper deals? :)

Its 24th - 26th July mate. The most likely option at the min is flying from leeds bradford for £80 return, going friday morning coming back monday morning. Fuck knows how i am going to get to leeds airport for 5am check in like

Would it not be easier flying from Newcastle and paying the extra rather than having to go through the hassle of getting to and from Leeds Graham?

I know when i was looking at TE flights i figured rather than have to get to Leeds before and after it made more sense to just go from Teesside and pay the £40.

Bet it'd be a good weekend though, weekend in the dam Footy, and all the rest.

Not sure mate, its the thick end of £200 to fly from newcastle so would be cheaper to go from leeds if we can get there on the cheap.

Just pricing up the options at the minute like, then need to get the money to go and talk my mate who i go to the games with to come as well, so its far from a done deal

Whats the crack with a regular return trip mate, is that just friday - saturday or saturday - sunday?

The problem is (i have only just realised this) that the games are played on friday night and sunday night, so to see any of the games ill need to go early on friday and/or stay until monday. Hmmm....

the return trips are, get there in the morning, return to the boat in the evening

you would have to get the thursday night sailing, which would get you there friday morning. then miss the return trip, go back to the terminal a day late, plead stupidity, pay a fine for being late, then get on the ship that was docked ;)

i think i got charged 30 euro's for changing return ship when we were late back from the germany tour

an idea would be to call the terminal at around 5.15 cet and tell them you're still in amsterdam, but you're ok and you're going to stay in a hostel. ask them to put you on the list to return the next day

they're pretty mint at looking after the mini-trippers so as long as you told them you were fine and you'll return the following day you might get away with it. you'll not get added to the no-show list, but added to the returning voyage a day later - theoretically

i will add though, this date is peak season, so if they dont have a cabin spare, you'll be stuck until they do - i've been a couple of times recently and had to wait for a spare cabin because the ships been full and they've forgotten to put me in the numbers. fuckers lol
