Charlton linked with Racing's Lisandro Lopez Charlton are on the verge of making an offer for the Argentinian league's top scorer Lisandro Lopez, according to the players' agent. Fernando Hidalgo claims the Addicks are ready to swoop for Lopez, who has scored 11 goals in 17 games for mid-table Racing Club in the Apertura. 'They (Charlton) are closely following his performances because they want to sign him by the end of the year,' said Hidalgo. 'They haven't made an official offer yet, but that should arrive in the next few hours.'
