Re: Changing video clip formats You'll need a converter / encoder.. U have to pay for majority of them unless you know someone you can get a "evaluation" copy from I use Main Concept.. its fast as fook and converts pretty much anythin..
Its not free.. I'm not sure how large the install file is.. I could possibly email you it.. but I'm at work at the mo..
download something called 'WinAvi Video Converter' I use this for changing file formats all the time. You might need a serial for it but if you tell me what version you download im sure I can find one somewhere.
No problem.. Accoring to the main concept site it'll cost around £82 to buy (thats a direct conversion from the $ price of $149) If i can send it I'll let u know..
thats hardly gonna work for avi to mpeg tho. Know what you mean with renaming files tho, generally dat files (if i know its a vid clip) coz all they are is mpeg.
I want to be able to upload some vid clips Ive took on my digi cam onto Imagestation and they only take MPEG's. Ive tried downloading something from Google, but you know what Im like
i have. i get .AVI's off mi digital camera - Movie Maker 2 or something i use.. i forgot... doesn't like .AVI - so bosh - rename - it does like it. quick and dirty. Here's a free one from microsoft - it'll compress it to... it might make it a WMV mind... but there might be options to save as different file formats. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...02-e496-465a-bba9-b2f1182cdf24&displaylang=en
Yeah they've just started doin those checks.. You must have a "evaluation" copy of windows eh I finish work at 4.30.. expect an email if ya don't find anythin..
just look on www.download.com just type avi to mpeg converter in the search it'll give you about a million programs that will do it, even free ones.
