    changing mobile phones

    i want to change my mobile phone, the company im with want to charge me £150 for the new phone, but i can get it free from other places. so i want to cancell the contract i have, and sign up so i can get the new phone for free. so what i want to know can i change companys and still keep the same number?. the phone will be still on the same network.

    If its a diff network you can keep the number, but if its the same network it cant be done.

    Had the same situation myself and had to change my number :evil:

    nightmare, u would have thought it would have been the other way round. well i might just change my network instead

    If its the same network then you keep the same sim card and they let you keep the same number.

    If its an identical deal see if they will do a price match which could save you some hassle.
