changing mobile phones i want to change my mobile phone, the company im with want to charge me £150 for the new phone, but i can get it free from other places. so i want to cancell the contract i have, and sign up so i can get the new phone for free. so what i want to know can i change companys and still keep the same number?. the phone will be still on the same network.
Re: changing mobile phones If its a diff network you can keep the number, but if its the same network it cant be done. Had the same situation myself and had to change my number :evil:

If its the same network then you keep the same sim card and they let you keep the same number. If its an identical deal see if they will do a price match which could save you some hassle.
