Change in direction for tracid Traxxx

    Dear Tracid Traxxx fans,

you might have been wondering, why Tracid traxxx has not released a 12" since a long time.

We are, to be honest, not so happy about the Italians and Dutch in in the nearest future also french and even some German (formerly mellow trance oriented labels) who have copied the typical Tracid Traxxx style so perfectly and formed it to what now is called "Hardstyle". All the TTX artist did not want to react on those copies and therefor they did not want to release anything.

we have been creative in the meantime, the artist tried a lot, tested it and the result is:

QUALITY can be the only alternative. Even though it seems that people do not appreciate quality techno these days. we do. And we hope some more people will join us. So a hot autumn starts with

TTX2044 - Emmanuel Top "Mars" incl Asem Shama (Vanguard) Rmx
    (scheduled for September 2003)

TTX2045 - Kenji Ogura vs Melanie Di Tria "Kreissäge 2" incl Robert Natus Remix
    (Scheduled for October 2003)

I cant argue with the above as I used to cane Tracid stuff before hardstyle became what it is is today.I have watched hardstyle grow into what it is now and you can hear the tracid influences in every hardstyle release!

    respect to ttx!

Agreed, Tracid used to have a very distinctive sound from artists like Kai Tracid, Warmduscher, Reloop etc.
As you said this has influenced other 'hardstyle' sounds and tunes, they did release a few techno(ish) type tunes which were ok, lets hope that the new releases are just as good quality as some of the classic tunes that Tracid have released over the last few years:)

So what they are saying is someone has copied them to the extent that the copier is now better than the original and they dont have any new ideas to compete with these new "copiers"???

Since when did they produce techno?????

Maybe they're just saying we know we've peaked - we'll never top what we've done, so we'll quit while we're ahead - unlike some labels that churn out identical song after song.

They do not put out techno, END OFF.

I can see how they are good or used to be good at what they done but they are miles away from techno.
