cdj 800 where is cheapest place for getting a cdj 800, is it worth risking a second hand one? is there that much dif with 800 / 1000 apart from que points and auto loops??
ive got two cdj 800's i bought the second hand and have had no trouble. Paid 650 for mine but that was a good price. as for the difference between them and the 1000s there isnt much. The hot ques are good but you wont really use them when playing. the build quality of the 1000s mk2 and mk3 tends to be better. Mk1 1000 are a bit dodgy imo. not very smooth. especially if you get second hand ones.
what do you mean by tighter?? i was referring to wether they were the same ie incriments of 0.05% which is the same as the 1000's. saying they are tighter implicates that decks themselves dont actually revolve at 33.5rpm or the digital equivilant, and are therefore faulty. or the pitch fluctuates slightly when the decks are playing.
