    CDJ 800 vs 1000

Honeslty, what is so much better wbout the 1000. I prefer the preset loops to the hot cues. Now unless someone can convince me that the 1000 is a much better buy for the extra 200 than i think ill be going tdown the 800 route.

    they have different platters
    they have different pitch increments
    they have different looping features
one has hot cues, one doesnt
one has memory card, one doesnt
one has better build quality than the other
one has more stages of pitch width than the other
one is black, one is grey

    thats it

i have 800's, do the job they need to, never used 1000's tho

had a denon dn-s5000 before these and that was good, probably better than the 800's i have now. looking back, wish i'd just used the money and bought a couple of decent midi controllers and used ableton or similar

and also as often as a 'CDJ's for sale' thread by Carson

ps if you have a laptop and some turntable then buy Serato, its much cheaper (£400) and you can spend the rest of the money on some decent tunes

yeah i got a dns 3500, decent tbh, but i think i like the feel of the cdj when adjusting. also the spin back sounds better on cdj as does the loop when its shortened to go eaaravahshsdgdhj
