any ideas? moves bout 1mm the catches on summit :s dunno if theres a cd jammed or something

un-bend a paper clip, get it very straight, stick it in the tiny hole just below your cd tray to manually release the mechanism. all cd roms have these

Never had to use it but my 800 get temperamental when it gets too hot

Nah mate, its my machine, I have it right next to this wall and the air doesnt really circulate very well behind it. Its my fault. Ive never known a pioneer unit to malfunction in the correct environment.
