Anyone got any advice on a good cd recorder for recording mixes straight onto cd?

now, im not a proper geek, and im not a dj but SURELY this is an expense which is pointless?

SURELY it is easier to put on your PC then burn to CD.

What if a mix goes wrong (not that im saying you are a shit dj!) then you have used a CD which you neednt have?

I'm sure £125 would buy you a canny few decent vinyls too :)

(I'm also sure that I sound really harsh - I just meant good tunes, I wasn't trying to say you had none already)

Am I being paranoid? Would you have taken this harshly?

you could propably buy a PC and a phono-jack lead for the price of a CD recorder like. then download audacity or audiograbber 4 free.

i always burn straight on to my cd recorder (because my comp is no were near my dex)

think mine is a phillips cdr 775, once its finalised it sounds mint!

once i get my comp back in my room i would probs just record straight onto it tho, and then i can do mixes in 320:)
