    CD Decks are bust!!!

Slightly gutted at the mo as my cd decks appear to have gone up shit creek! I've got a Numark CDN-90 and bought it around February of this year. Up until now, its worked perfectly. Now the left hand side of the control unit appears to be totally dead with no led's actually coming on once the unit is switched on, and the right hand side appears only to be working intermittently. The cd drawers themselves appear to be working alright, but obviously with the control unit completely stuffed, or so it seems anyway, I'm rendered cd-deckless!

    Anybody had any similar problems?

    A fecking gutted Hodge!

Take them to Global Dj centre in town, they will send them to Numark if they can't fix them themselves, it wont cost a great deal.:)

For once, 51's actually telling the truth.

Not a great deal of difference between the 800 and the 1000, bar the £300 price difference ;)

the 1000 is the bollocks, the 800 would do but I would rather spend the extra

Re: Re: CD Decks are bust!!!

Taking it back could be a little easier said than done since I ordered it off the net, funnily enough from decks.co.uk aka Sapphires! I think I'm entitled to a free repair, but this doesn't include the cost for me to actually get it to Sapphires. This is really my main worry in case it gets lost/stolen in transit or something! Thing is, I thought I was getting a fairly reliable machine, and now that its fecked up, I'm not entirely sure that I simply want it repairing or given the same model replacement. Was obviously going to mention trading standards etc. if need be.
