umm.. try burning at a slower speed.... 4X seems to work best with unbranded..

could be the CD's, ive had problems copying cd to cd with the unbranded cd's. especially software for some reason.

also check the CD your copying from, a problem i had was that the CD i was copying from was scratched.

is Nero giving you any error messages?

I am using the burner in the office today instead, cause the one at home is driving me insane.. I am gonna try buring at a slower speed as suggested, see if that helps..

It either says something like burn process failed at 12x, or just never moves from about 4-5% for 20 mins and eventually I have to re-start my computer..

Ok just tried again on a slower speed 2x and 4x and it still doesn't work... It comes up with the following message:

    Phillips CDD4851 CDR-RW
    Internal target failure

Burn process failed at 2x (300kb/s)

    Any ideas....?

    Try some different cd's mate....

If thats not the problem, then it quite possibly is your drive..

What is the make.model of the drive?

Have a look on manufacturers website and download/install the latest firmware for the drive...

Could also be the software like - sometimes it can becoem corrupt and wont function properly.....

Try uninstalling it - rebooting then installing it again (or try sumfin other than wot u are using..)

    good look fella :D
