    Re: Re: Re: Carr

nope, just raised 15m through some fancy share scheme which is for the transfer fund alone. Keeping it all for the new manager in the summer though :cool2:

i'd be very surprised if carr left in this window now. If anything he should've been sold last summer - we could've got 5-6m then. Now we'd get 3m at best and it will be considerably less next summer. Contract is up in 18months. Probably just keep him til it runs out now...

your right, to be honest im not really bothered about him. right now i would prefer the money from the sale of cort and nobby to be kept in the bank for the summer

carr used to be world class around 99-2000 but since he had that hernia op he's only been operating at about 75%. Still the best right back in the lge IMO. But its not the most important position I guess is it?

But they are not a BIG CLUB either, they are no longer classed as part of the BIG 6 anymore. We are rated bigger than Spurs.

    Re: Re: Re: Re: Carr

I might be wrong, but i read that his contract is up in 6 months.

Therefore i think £1m might get him.

Imo Carr is the best right back in the Premiership and has been for 5 years. If not the best, he has always been in the top 2 or 3. Would be a great signing.

    a poor article then!

Try this - strraight from the horse's mouth:

    http://www.spurs.co.uk/article.asp?article=183882

Pleaty has since said that we would take bids on their merits so I wouldn't rule it out, though time is running out now. Don't wanna lose Carr myself but I understand our position if we accept the bid. Don't want another Sol C**ntball situation.
