    I think it's going to be in the old bingo hall at the bottom of Westgate Road (opposite Burger King?).

    not arena bands like athlete etc?

    i reckon id rather listen to 12" thumpers non stop for a full day then one of athletes songs.

    im sure it will eventually, perhaps the more mainstream names are gonna be at the start to raise awareness of the new venue

    its a 2000 capacity venue, so id image it get the likes of bloc party etc when they tour

    we are getting a 400 capacity academy 2 as well, which hopefully we will start getting bands like arcade fire for example playing there

    I like the dressing rooms at the academies .... they have them mirrors with the lights all round em, made me feel like a right little diva :lol:

    rooster are playing there in october...athlete were really depressing on sat...wanted to top myself after their set! :(
