iv been disapointed in cox before iv seen him follow leibing at space with industrial techno and then play pure house at the dig a month later
i've seen mr.cox every time he's played shindig, but after the last fiasco i think i'll stay in....i like to be able to breath, being squashed in the middle of 4 people twice the height of me was the final straw and i had a better time sleeping in the car...sorry. i hope he's cracking for you though
Strange idea, but I think that the reason he always plays house at the Dig is because he's one of a few big name dj's who actually plays to the crowd- a lot of people play pretty much the same set wherever they go, Shindig is a house night and the crowd there, particularly when Carl Cox plays are much more likely to be into house music so he plays house- go and see him at sankeys or pressure if you want the techno- also - anyone who thinks that carl cox @ shindig hasn't always been an absolute sell out packed to the rafters sweat a thon is probably deluding themselves I remember the queue down melbourne st that must have been 100m long when he played at foundation, sweat dripping off the ceiling, impossible to get served at the bar etc etc
