Car Speakers Reet I'm after some new decent ones.... the standards in mine at mo are gash and do my music no justice. Never bought any before so.... I would appreciate some advice guidance. Ie. Brands (not kenwood!! I aint a boy racer! ) ) , Quality, Fair price, (I aint gunna break the bank) and easy to install myself! Like I say I know nothing.... 6x9s (is this the standard size or something?), and then I've seen different sized coaxial cables (whats the relevance here?) Come on u boy racers!! Please advise
i got a pair of in phase xt62 speakers, and 2 8" subs in my mini, the in phase speakers are mint, cost 90 quid tho. http://www.inphaseaudio.co.uk/products_xt62.asp
I got a really good pair in the sale for £35 but forgot the make, was three letters beginning with J I wouldnt spend too much unless your car is secure, I got mine nicked just before christmas
The Kenwoods in mine are the shit. Loads of bass, you don't need a subwoofer if you have a decent head unit. Don't get Sony speakers, they look good but that's it.
dont no much about car speakers but can guarantee you that JBL speakers give out good sound with all there speakers wether they be for cars, home hi-fi, or pa systems theres a web site but not sure on the web page address
i had some lower down model JBL speakers as my first 6 x 9s and i couldn't complain really, bought them 2nd hand on ebay for a tenner - they were obviously stolen though as there was broken glass in the cone which rattled until i found out what it was. JBL = as the name suggests - JUST BLOODY LOUD
i dodgy place to purchase stuff like ebay get ya hair pulled out more times than enough although you can get some bargains if ya lucky JBL= just bloody loud in my case when gurning it would be jolly big lip
my normal car speakers dont even work, only one on the passenger side does. can anyone help sort it? or would i cost much to get sorted?
