as far as i'm aware, any car speakers will be fine. as long as they're 4 ohm. i think hifi speakers are 8.

    Re: car speakers?

Not that you've been indecisive about this but next you'll be asking us what tunes you should listen to. In fact, I'm sure I could spare some time to come and sit in the car to listen to it for you.

You've got a Yaris yeah, same as the missus. Just cut a couple o holes in the rear shelf. Screw each speaker underneath then attach the covers. You'll just be left with the covers showing.

No, you just need to get a set of the shitty parcel shelf speakers from agros instead. They will still work, just sound bad and if you have a half descent head unit they'll distort when you turn the volume up.

If you really don't want them you can always get a custom made parcel shelf and put whatever speakers you want in there. Its more hassle but its worth it in the long run :)

Get yer stereo fitted first. You can listen on the front speakers until you sort out some extra for the back.
Anyway, when are you picking me up??:)

Once you've got the old one out 5-10 mins max. Its not a strange shape is it? If it is you'll need a facia adapter

Getting it out can be a bastad tho unless you have the 'know how'

    :)

From what I can see on toyota's web site it doesn't look like it can just be swapped over.

If the hifi uses the existing dash display then you'll need extra cables to connect the dash display to your cd player, as well as a facia panel to hold the new player in.
