    Car insurance

    Who is people with?

I have been quoted £100 more a year than I paid last year

Im am 25 on the new policy and nothing else has changed, isnt it meant to go down once you hit 25??

Also, Kwik-fit are coming back the cheapest on all the comparision sites but then when I go through the quote with them they are actually £200 more than the original quote, that is after i have REMOVED all the optional extras! Im confused.com

for me (22 year old lad, who passed in Aug 2005) Tesco car insurane was by far the cheapest like. this is my first year of having my own insurance rather then being added to other peoples and it was £550 for the year. should have been £595 but they knocked £45 off cos i used my mams tesco clubcard

They are coming back at £500 for me, my renewal with budget is £500 too even though last year I was only paying £330, I dont understand why it has gone up when I have no convictions or claims and the only thing different to last year is my age ! I rang budget and asked why then told them i wouldnt be renewing with them, the "non-english" speaking call handler then told me I was "mad" if i didnt renew with them - cheeky bastard

    1100 with the paddy's?

they're cheap as fuck for me, been with them for a few years now and never pay that much - im old now though

if theres a lot of car crime in your area it'll send your premium through the roof like

I paid 2 and a half grand a year when i got my beemer ... that was painful :(

The only insurer that would quote me even half decent amounts up until recently (finally got 3 years no claims and i hit 30) was elephant.co.uk. Less than 30 years old having only had a licence for a short time and trying to get insured on group 20 cars is a no no ;)

Make sure you add your MUM as a driver to the policy (Assuming she's in her 50's or thereabouts with no convictions and had her licence a long time). Its a nice little trick that knocks money off your insurance premium ;)

I used Quinn for a couple of years then they came back with a monster renewal one year so I fucked them off.
Kwik-Fit were by far the cheapest for me, thats on a 2.0dti Vectra too.

Direct Line for me, adding the wife also took the policy down, running a 1.8zetec focus

i was with Priviledge (an off shoot of DL) when i had a faster car and had just made a claim, they were reasonable.

I hope you didn't let the dirty foreign cunt get away with it, take some time out of your day and do everything you can to try to get the cunt a warning claiming that the reason you're leaving them as a company is because of that individual agents shitty attitude.

Hopefully he'll get sacked and him and his family starve to death because the £3 a month wages he gets aint coming in anymore.

p.s. I love foriegn call centres!
