Tesco was the cheapest I could find for me. Asda has started doing it aswell so they will probs be quite cheap aswell
I' VE got the priviledge there's no 1 cheaper company - it's just a case of ringing them all, giving them all the same shitty info and finding out whos best... there's no easy way. don't believe these "we ring around for you" jockies - it's all bullshit. if you're got a fast car or loads of convictions and accidents - there's always specialist ones in the back of the auto trader - PLUS if u know u won't claim - just whack your excess up a bit...
I got mine through Diamond, which seemed cheapest but it's a sort of con cos it's only for 10 months, although they recognise ya pass plus if you've done it!!
They're really good, specialize in modified cars, saw 1 guy 24 yrs old had a impreza 2.0, 6 points on his liscence..... £750 fully comp 08700 777888 or http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/ hope they can help ya , movin mine there soon as i get me no claims through :groovy:
Asda nd Tesco are still underwritten by the big boys, NU, Directline etc so check the small print , E-sure or on-line ins co's r genrally the cheapest as ur cutting out the middleman Hope this helps
I always find this quite good for any type of insurance Ruth. Car, home, whatever. http://www.moneysupermarket.com/insurancedefault.asp?Source=IS Fill it in, and it gives you loads of prices from lotsa different insurers. Because it doesnt ask every question (bcos every companies questions are slightly different) it isnt totally exact. But i tend to just ring the cheapest three for a proper quote. Seem to work for me!
Elephant by far for me My quote: 2002 VW Polo 1.2 Litre (55hp) Fully comp policy. Elephant: £863 NU: £1242 Frizzell (aka ripping bastards): £1896 I dont get to drive other cars third party, and it doesnt cover any mods at all, but this i can live with. Certainly worth a shot.
some of the cheaper insurers, tesco/elephant etc will charge you big admin costs throughout the year, so that is also something you need to consider. as Orbit says would advise going through engines like confused.com and money supermarket
ruth i've got a wicked deal with morethan. Got my 2001 VW Golf SE 1.6 Litre (130bhp) with a few mods Fully comp policy for £290 and my 1999 BMW 328i Convertible 2.8 Litre (250bhp) also had a few mods Fully comp policy for £889 got a big discount for booking online to. i moved from directline and have saved about £1600 over the two cars!
