    capture frames from mpegs...

    anyone known of any progs that let u capture images from mpeg movies?

    Paint Shop Pro has a capture function, i think i've used it b4 to grab screen shots from mpegs. yeah i have, i used it to grab that picture of Ponch for my av.

    I use an MPG player called Jiao. Its small, fast as hell and takes captures

    ive got hypersnap DX... it's for direct x apps tho... never tried it on vids... it's what i used to take the pics of the fifa kits... tho it needs to be registered or u get a hypersnap ad in the top left of every foto.

    frickin paintshop pro is about as userfreindly as a plastic shark cage and it wont load my damn file..

    get PSP open, have the mpeg open, running in it's own window, pause at the opportune moment, back to PSP , set up capture (whole screen capture if u want, or just 'area') go to 'Start Capture' and it will take a snap shot! voila!

    ive been raised on photoshop since i was 14... psp just made me angry :p

    Sorted. i only really know PSP5, a little hand wi 7, not a clue about Pro - so i'm gald u found it. not the most ideal way, but it does the job.
