Can you use a DBOX2 with a dish or does it have to be Cable?

    sort of , a different box tho set up for satelite instead of cable , there's a new box comming out the end of the year tho that supports satelite and cable, its gona retail at around £860 tho , has all the tricks of a dbox2 n a whole lot more !!

    there's dbox's with sat tuners knocking around - but not very supported.

    doesn't dreambox600 have space for 2 tuners?!!?!? not sure if the software will let you run them along side each other though.

    £860>?!>?!??! is that how much it's going to be now fids?

    the dreambox 8000hd, has two tuners, room for a hard drive plus a dvd recorder, will support satelite and cable altho you will have to set it up to dual boot images for both !!

    Yeah its expected to retail next month @ £860 , expensive as fook !

    whats the crack with these dboxes, do u need a motorised dish to get most of the stuff, they sound like a right pain in the minge to use/setup

    for the sat receivers yeah, it's best to have a motorised dish. too much of a faff on for me

    Yeah they can be a pain in the arse to get set up but once its done ya laffin , the boxes tell the dish which way to turn when u change channel and need to be on a different transponder etc !!

    Worth it if ya in to footy n smut lol :evil: :lol:
