    Can you sing?

Does anyone actually believe they can genuinely sing?

Would any of you put yourself through Xfactor for it?

I think i can sing certain songs, i have been told i am a good singer, but then i have also been told to shut up a few times. Not that it bothers me cos i enjoy belting out a good tune from time to time.....

I think i'd be a great opera singer though.

I could sing really well until I was about 9 but then I 'did an Aled'.

I can only sing certain songs the likes of dave grey or sting as i cant hit a high note to save my life .

but id go on x factor just for a laugh ! Dont think id get through though my mate went on last year and she was another one of these large diaphrammed ladies with a really powerful voice (as mentioned earlier in the thread) .

They screen you like four times before you get to ask simon cowell what chest size his pants are and they only let so many average people through the majority have to be so bad its funny or so good its frightning .

I can hold a tune reasonably well, but nowhere near well enough to do it in public.

When my mam sings I throw things at her, it's painful.

I can do a mint operatic version of Queen Bohemian Rhapsody as if a man and a woman were singing it to each other.....gets quite emotional half way through though....lol

i would never go on xfactor, but i have joked about it at work....i'd sing my version of the budget windows song......it's wicked!

I'm quite good at singing man songs, someone at work said i do a good rendition of Gnarles Barkley - Crazy too.

But i think my personal favorites are Eva Cassidy - somewhere over the rainbow, and fields of gold.

a few norah jones tunes always deserve a good punishing too
