Can anyone tell me... what the following programs are/do before I remove them from my PC.. I don't recognise any of them.. I need to render 3D graphics, its chugging along and I need more system resources.. Abcast Client ABBYY FineReader 5.0 Sprint Adobe SVG Viewer ATI - Uninstall Facility (something to do with my motherboard I presume) DVD Decrypter RealTek AC97 Audio I've also got DivX & DivX player.. can I get rid of one of them? and..... 3 Java updates (3,4 & 6) taking up 120mb each.. can I get rid of 3 & 4? ta
Re: Can anyone tell me... The ATI uninstall is probably the drivers for your graphics card... it's unwise to uninstall either them or the AC97 codec (sound card driver). DivX player you don't need if you have the codec installed. Dunno about java - I've got the same updates on here. The rest can probably go anyway.
