Camera http://www.littlewoods-online.com/r...tem_id=15&Mis_item_loc_id=1&product=235359669 Is this any good? Don't know much about cameras but will be purchasing one this week and £200 is my budget
4.1 megapixels is canny like,,looks smart n'all. Like that low power consumption feature coz mine is a pain in the arse it had died by 7pm at 1bigwkend!!! jus have a scout about, its not all about brand names these days wit electronics i got i 5.25 megapixel beast from LIDL's!!
Cheers- Tbf the megapixels aint a huge issue as i know 4.1 will be sufficient. Just wondered what that was like as an all round camera
Marc I got a Kodak 4 Megapixel last month from Dixons for £150 , it is wicked mate....video footage and sound quality is mint and picture quality is better than anything I have ever had before.....plus it has a rechargeable battery which is a big plus I spent 1/2 hour in the shop with the bloke trying outall the models and that one was a level aboev everything else in that price range
I cant remember but the best advice I can give you is to go for a camera with Schneider lense rather than the standard samsung lense
marce u wanna get ur self down lidls m8,,me mams jus picked up a well sexy 4.2m;pixel aint sure of the model,,but u get 2 batterys 128mb mem card a separate bettery charger the software usb an charger for £140 defo check it owt
This is my little baby - http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos...8-4/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i4_xgl/026-5960742-8646032 You've seen the quality of the pics/video, its small enough to fit in ur pocket, easy to use with ur computer, the battery lasts a canny long time before u have to recharge it too (much better than a camera that eats battery after battery). Basically its just about everything u want from a camera. They might have a newer model out by now but thats the one I've got and I'd recommend it to anyone. If u want any more info, just ask. Also, a good place to get cheap but good accessories is at http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=777
Lee they have introduced the Ixus5 which is absolutely mint The main reason I didnt go for that one is because it doesnt have an external view finder (little window) which is extremely useful in the dark
Mate, seriously, get an Ixus For £229 you can have the spankingly sexy Ixus 40! That Fuji is good, but it's a little bit bulky, and you can get better for your money. Kenzil, you could have got a 5mp Pentax S50 for £150 mate. It's the lenses that make the biggest difference, not the amount of pixels IMO when you are choosing between 4/5 mega pixels. Go to Dixons, people know what they are on about there (See me if i'm in) and it will give you the chance to handle the cameras and see which you like best. Theres also a 5mp Casio for £199, forgot the model number though. Either way, take a good look around. If i'm in i'll sort u a good deal!
Quite possibly yes! However, when buying a digicam though you want to get it from a decent, well known online store, say amazon..so if you have a problem you can easily get it sorted. The ixus 40 aint that much cheaper elsewhere, £200 ish is gona be your best price if you get it from a well known online store, maybe a bit more on the high street. I would match the price anyway...
