Completely disagree like! I bought a Dell back in October, can't remember the specs now and can't be arsed to check but I love it!! By far the best company to buy PCs and PC components for!

Other than the fact that it runs as well as it should, it's quiet as fuck, a lush black colour (ok weird but other PC's I've bought in the past I haven't had a choice of colour!), it was easy as piss to set up, I've had no problems at all with it, and their customer services is excellent (eg. delivery is bang on time, tracking your delivery is great, getting responses from technical questions is quick, etc)

Plus I can't argue with their prices either! Infact when I bought a new scanner from them last month I put in the "comments" box how I loved their customer services, etc.

Oh and on both occasions (buying the pc and buying that scanner) they asked me if I was making WMD's. I found it funny, but didn't think that I should tell the local newspaper. Wish I did now

    Bollocks!

Dell are totally class systems. Superb customer service and very good prices.

You can't judge a company that is as big and as sucessful as Dell because your work PC isn't lightning quick, that could be down to any number of things to be fair.

Dell's record speaks for itself. Walk into banks, building societies, libriaries...whatever, most of them will be using Dell equipment.

Easily the best PC company..whos better? Tiny? Packard Bell? I think not!

Dell used to be price competitive a few years back, arent any more outside high end multiprocessor systems or servers. Good level of service etc tho.

Now that is the only problem with Dell. had to ring technical support last year coz the computer crashed and wouldnt start back up in anyway. Couldnt understand a word the other person was saying, he ahd no idea what the problem was i was trying to explain to him, but he was trying his hardest i'll give him that. In the end i had to format the HD and re-install.

Ive had mine sfor 3 years in june, and i seriously cant fault it, not a thing has went wrong except for the above problem, which was probably my fault.

Only thing was the price when i bought it, it was something like £1,300, for a 2.0Ghz with all the stuff, cd writer, TFT monitor, which had just come out.

But if your gonna buy a PC from anywhere pre built, buy a Dell, would'nt touch Tiny, Packard Bell etc.
