Buying a house/flat whats the best sites for looking at buying houses or flats in newcastle.?? is there a general 1 or do i have to look round every estate agents???
rightmove and places like that, that check most estate agents are a good start and kieth pattersons is the largest northeast EA
rightmove or findaproperty are the best ones. I wouldnt start looking though until you get your mortgage approval, if you are serious about buying so you know roughly what value you will be looking at
Bear in mind your going to need anywhere from a 10-25% deposit (unless your very very lucky) ... for me that means finding 80 odd grand, so i wont be buying a house .... er..... ever! (at this rate).
id start looking NOW its takes YEARS To find the right place. Check the auciton pack every month and even start going along to auctions and marking down what things go for... weight up your options, places you want to live, places you can afford to live and type of property. If going for city living id ALWAYS go frist floor flat everytime...
I could try moving back home and then slowly poisoning the olds with mercury until clogs are popped and i can buy that florida house on the other thread.
Pattersons do the main auction up here. Go to http://www.pattinsonauctions.co.uk/ You can pop along have a couple of pints and check out the FILTHY old MILFS that get along, they fucking loved it. Just dont scratch your nose much

Get on as many estate agents books as you can. They'll send you details every week (by post or email) of properties within your budget and area etc. They'll also ring you to arrange viewings on new properties or 'must sees'- defo worth it!
