burning

When i burn a cd thats got a continuous mix through..EG: Crashers ressie transmission.Which ive downloaded track by track..It has breaks when the next track plays like form track 1- track 2 instead of a continuous mix al the way through...you's know what i mean..

How can i stop this so al the tracks merge together?

think i know wot u mean u use nero? u have to have a 2 second time gap on the first song if using loads ov tracks u can click on song n then properties n remove the 2 second gaps on each song probly just explained nothing at all there lol

Karl thats exactly what i want to do.ive looked in properties and i cant see anything about a 2 second gap..

right click on every song then properties it'll say time gap = 2 change it to = 0

cue files!!!



simple to use, loads of uses, means u dont get any gaps, powerful, but hard to get your head round at first!

Karl its got nothing saying 2 second time gap...the only things i can do is click read/hidden thats in the general....then in summary all i can do there is put the title of the song /album in

NERO

Heres what you need to do

1. When you've dragged your selected file/s accross for copying

2. Leave the first file

3. double left click on the next file

4. it opens up a box called "AUDIO TRACK INFO"

5. Goto where it says "PAUSE"

6. In the box where it says "2"

7. Left click on the number 2 and delete it

8. In the same box type in a ZERO and then click on APPLY

9. CLOSE the box and then REPEAT this for ALL OTHER FILES

10. You should be left with a GAP of 2 SECONDS for the first FILE and ZERO'S for the rest

P.S. File = track or song or whatever you are using for copying

I know what the problem is now...iam not using NERO to burn my CD's am using that roxio easy cd creator (came wiv the computer)

maybe i could do it in there..

iam downloading the platinum version of roxio...so should i just quit and get NERO instead?

iam downloading nero 5.5.9.0 full version..is that the right one?

i've always had bother with this, i can't seem to path them seemlessly, i can get rid of the 2 second pause but there's still a slight pause or jump between tracks - i've even tried splicing mp3s together but they're never 'spot on'

may have to experiment more with que sheets and stuff

can u get them perfect can you doggie?

mine r always spot on appart from 1st track (has to have gap) so i normally add an extra track on b4 set i use same programme as doggie (i think)

with u cue sheet everytime... only thing is only a few progs will allow u to use cue sheets...

basically u can download n mp3 set as the one file, and theres no need to split it up into seperate tracks, cos a cue sheet will do it for u. With this u can normally download cue sheets, so the track marks are exactly where one tune finishes and another starts...

Also, u can spilt the file up yourself, and enter the tracks into a cue sheet, and when the cd is burning, it will link the seperate mp3s up to make it one continuous mix with tracks... sounds simple? it is really, heres an example of a cue sheet:
