    Burning Video Camera data to VCD

    A mate at work has asked me this...I'm not sure...but no doubt some of you real techie bods will :D

    Anyone know how to transfer Mini DV footage from "one of those new video camera's like", onto a VCD...?

    ummm...

    connect to your pc... get the video into a program such as adobe premiere...

    save as an mpeg/avi..

    then u can burn onto a vcd using nero as long as u have the mpeg2 plugin. (just search for mpeg2 nero codec in kazaa/etc)

    can't believe u didn't ask me about this you frickin joey! whos got a digital video camera, with a firewire card, some decent software and have been burning VCDs and SVCDs (with the correct Nero plug-in) ??

    here's what u do : slap the back of your right hand with your left hand and try bite your left ear at the same time.

    Won't that make me look like a Joey though...if I do that...

    I got an email knockback when I sent to through to you first you see...thus the second option of stickin it on the board!

    what did the email say when it was knocked back? which email server knocked it back - mine or your nhs one?

    you still round tonight? i'll give u a demo and the software u need. ask the bloke if he's running XP and if he's got a firewire card.
