Burning ripped dvd files to disk

I know theres always threads like this, sorry

I ripped a dvd but its too big to fit on disk so i only want the film and none of the extra bits (although theres a cd 2 so they might be all the extras. Its been ripped into a selection of .vob .bup .ifo files. Theres 6 .vob files that are 1gb each. Will all of these be required for the video?

I've tried to view a few of the files in powerdvd but its just a black screen.

blergh. Probably gonna have to use dvd shrink aren't I.
