    Burning DVDs

    Idiots guide to...

    thanks x

I've tried using nero but it seems to want to open and close my dvd drive as it pleases, which is seriously fucking annoying. All i want is to watch a video file on my tv, what do i need to convert it to, and what do i need to burn it to a dvd to play on my dvd player?

I use Winavi 7 to convert it to DVD vob files. Then i open up Nero Burning Rom ( which is part of the Nero Suite) drag all the converted video files over and burn. Works every time. If your still having problems pm me and i'll do it for ya over the weekend.

Yeah but then you get about 6 films per dvd disk, and you can burn them all straight away instead of wasting ages converting every film to dvd format.

Only thing with mine is, a few films, and some tv programs seem to have frame rate problems. I'm guessing this is down to the codecs used to rip them. Everything else plays as it does on the pc though
