Its a shame we british stopped being able to put out good sitcoms on a consistant basis after the 1970's and early 1980's eh

Theres the odd Gem (I used to like "Game On") but 9 times out of 10 the stuff we do is horrendus ("My Family" anyone :spangled: )

We still manage to make the best comedy series's in the world though (Brass Eye, Alan Partridge etc etc) :D

Gotta be Red Dwarf its a bona-fide classic imo:king:

There loads of other good ones in there like blackadder, 'allo 'allo, young ones and father ted:)

I am sickened to see 'comedies' like dinnerladies, hi-de-hi, two pints of lager... and gimme gimme gimme in there, they should all be consigned to the great big shit pile in the sky:evil:

    :D

The best British sitcom is SPACED by a mile. Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson are true comic geniuse's. Great characters and storylines, with the best clubbing sequence I've seen. The director Edgar Wright has it spot on too.

Top CD soundtrack for season 1 too.

    Roll on season 3!!
