Quality stuff - he had sooo many chances to win it - but it just wasn't his time

fluffed the start, then kimi jumped on the brakes so alonso got past - then the issues with trying the different engine settings which made it stall.

Then he mounts a massive come back, cutting thru the pack. Next, brilliant idea of getting the softer compound tyres out of the way, when everyone else was going for the hard compound means he'd have the decent tyres for the last stint. But NO! crappy middle bit of the race, so maybe he'll make it up at the end

3RD STOP!! WTF??? what a mistake. it was like the rugby squad - they had the talent but a few daft mistakes fucked it.

Good battle in the middle betweem Kubica, rosberg and Trulli - kubica defo seems to be a top driver.

Brilliant final race of the season

Kimi is a bit like mika - a bit boring, bland but does the job well so u can't complain.

he was never going to win anyway.ferrari made sure of that with all there whining and all the cash they put into f1 !!
i believe that there was a agreement for them to lose when the espionage thing happened.only reason it never came to light was that the sponsers and tv and the rest of the season would have been a wash out so they made it look like mcclaren were really trying but had loads of problems and made mistakes pffffff.

McClaren have been incredibly unlucky to have the fastest car this season and come away with nothing.

It would've been great for the sport if Hamilton had won it. F1 hinges on the small things, but BMW have been lucky to get away with their cold fuel.

Good race, but I was gutted when he pulled in for that 3rd stop :(

they were found guilty in the espionage trial !!
they were fined tens of millions but no punishment to driver standings ?? come on !!
the fact is if they had lost the driver standings then the rest of the season would have been non existent !
sponsers would pull out,tv companies would pull out, spectators would drop, and the whole f1 business would be in ruins for this season.so behind closed doors they decide to make it look like mcclaren still tried thier best to win the title but unfortunate events happened.

look at the so-called phantom engine management problem ! as soon as the 17th car passed lewis it started up again then just as he was about to position himself into the top 10 they bring him in for soft tyres ? then as he faught back again they never fuelled him till the finish so he had to come in yet again ?
these are mistakes that a 10p company would make not a £,billion one.after all they never put a foot wrong all season till after the espionage trial.

its a lot more "far fetched" that after the best season they all of a sudden made some of the most immature decisions ever seen in the sport !!
the fact that no mcclaren driver finished in 1st or 2nd place even tho it was practically gauranteed.
the fact that even bernie ecclestone said at the start that he never wanted lewis to win and that he thought raikkonen should win.
the way alsonso threw his 3rd place trophy over his shoulder and walked off without even opening his champagne (like it was no surprise)
the fact that not 1 member of the mcclaren team looked dissgruntled during and after the race, as if they were following orders.

The rumour is that Lewis hit the pit lane button and thats what caused the engine issue. Whether this was an accident by Lewis or a deliberate ploy I dont know.
