Boot Disk

    Boot Disk

    I have the boot disk for this PC.

    How do i re-format the whole drive to that it starts from scratch ???

    I basically like it was when i first got it, ill probs have to install all the cable stuff as well which i have on disk, then owt else as well :)

    U mean put the disk in then type that into the run box ?!?!

    I dont wanna totally fuck the PC like - however it needs fixing fast, gets slower and slower ever day :(

    i'm with Juski.

    Not something you should attempt if you don't know what you are doing.

    And make sure u back everything up that you want to keep!!

    Geordie - isn't it a brand new PC that came with all the disks? isn't 1 of the disks a 'Disaster Recovery disk' or something? that'll return it to how it was delivered from the factory.

    Once done, install AV, firewall and get a spyware remover. that'll be reet from then onwards.

    It's an old pc that he's got as well, and it's win98.
