Booby on Bellamy Will said Sir bobby dont let the fat c**t bring you down Bobby Robson replied in his Mail on Sunday column: "Yes he was temperamental, fiery and awkward. But I didn't hear many complaints that night at Feyenoord when he scored a last-minute goal to put the club through to the Champions League second stage, making them several million in the process and paying off his transfer fee." "It's Graeme Souness' team now and, like every manager, he has the right to make his decisions and stand or fall by his results. "That's fine but you can't rewrite history and say I'm to blame for the latest row because I chose to use different methods."
Re: Booby on Bellamy It appears that Bobby was getting the very best out of a tempermental bunch. Something his successor will never do!
Re: Re: Booby on Bellamy WHATEVER & AS FOR TRICKLE HOW MANY GAMES DID YOU SEE LAST YEAR? There was cracks all over the shop, everyone I went to the match with could see what was going to happen, the Wolves game being the game when I knew it was going to be 4 steps (or 7 or so places down the league) before we started going forward again.
Im not saying we were perfect last season, BUT we finished 5th and got into Europe we looked better than we do this season.... Roson stabalised what Gullit and Daglish messed up and now he is getting blamed for everything, not fair imo
