It was heart-wrenching stuff watching him at the charity match at st. james.... After seeing him as frail as he was I didn't think it looked good for him
Aye it was a sad day, but it was good to see him make it to the match. My mam has this from that game, money for it went to his charity:
unreal turn out, barca sent a full contingent inc Laporta the club president. good to see they pointed out he was a 'son of Country Durham' which of course makes him a Mackem
I lived in Langley Park for a couple of years and went to school in Sacriston, and I would say it's about 75% Mackem.
Would say its nearly half and half in Sacriston actually. Langley Park is in the dark ages still hence the Mackem contingent.
Theres no such thing as 50/50 its Mackem land via post code. Yes some unwashed live there this is true tho.
DH is not a mackem postcode, it's Durham. At least Durham is a city unlike that shithole. He was a Durham lad therefore not a mackem or a geordie. Same as me being from Chester.
i think this thread has lost its way and turned into a slanging match when infact its suppose to be about the late great sir bobby robson
and I never said sunderland wasnt, infact I agreed with you, was just questioning you saying it wasnt a city
ah its actually high heworth tho - the nice part, full of little old ladies who drink cream teas **snorts**
