    Bluetooth Dongles

What's the skinny with these things then? Do you just plug'em into a usb port and you can transfer stuff from PC to phone or whatever device via bluetooth?

How much are they roughly, and what should I like out for features-wise?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Is this one ok?: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/1412.htm

Also, do you have to do anything to install them on an individual machine, or could i just take the dongle and use it on my home pc and work pc with no bother?

i paid about 20/30 quid ages ago for mine and it does the job... its an old one so sometimes i have to reinstall drivers for it cos it fucks up. apart from that im happy with it.

but the goon is right, they are pretty slow, but then speed isnt really much of an issue when im transfering stuff.

    Transfer times are better.
Ive got a Samsung D500 and cant transfer games using the usb lead though, and it is possible to transfer them using bluetooth dongle. This is the only advantage other than not having wires I know of.
