Should have sold him when we had the chance!

    -----

Newcastle have suffered a double injury blow following their bruising 2-0 Uefa Cup win over Bnei Sakhnin on Thursday.
Midfielder Kieron Dyer faces several weeks on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring strain in the second half.

And Aaron Hughes also limped off, giving new manager Graeme Souness a selection headache ahead of Sunday's Premiership game at Southampton.

Souness, however, can take some comfort from the form of Patrick Kluivert, who scored both goals in the European win.

Every player can run and run and run all day but its what else they do that counts, Dyer's had too many fcuking chances now and its got beyond a joke !

Teams that were gonna offer big £ for him at one time must be laughing there tits off now at this so called "England International"

When he's at his best is when he's flat out down the flank, like when he got snapped at Southampton, like when we beat Southampton in the FA Cup on TV - like when he scored 2 against Leeds Utd one season.

Sadly tho this sorta thing happens once in a blue moon and for the money he gets / chances he's had its just not on !

We shall see what happens under Souness, when he's fit of course now

He's had far too many chances as you say, most over rated player in the premier league imo.

Really REALLY do not rate Dyer at all... so I'm not exactly arsed, just wish we weren't still paying his wages!
