    Black Cats boss lands monthly gong

    Sunderland's Mick McCarthy has been named Nationwide Manager of the Month for March after steering the Black Cats to third in Division One.

    Two X-Mags won the other Nationwide awards,Mark McGhee of Brighton & Peter Jackson of Huddersfield.

    Will the curse of winning the MOM award strike this weekend?
