    this could quickly turn into a long thread. I have had a broken the following headphones

    Technics RPDJ 1210 @ £110
    Sony 700's @ £100
    Pioneer HDJ1000 £120

    I now have a nice new pair on Pioneers that were excanged under warrenty. they are 3 days old, I feel they will die quickly. I must be using them wrong :lol:

    They can be right bastards like - I'm onto my third pair but all 3 have been shit. I just fancy splashing out on a good pair and trying to take care of them.

    I like the pioneers :D nice and loud. The sony's weigh a ton and fall to bits. Load of people on here have the HD25's

    Dont get sonys there fucking shit for the price.

    you can get sennheiser hd25s for £99 on bangingtunes.com..its the cheapest ive seen them for (apart from mine..£77 on ebay brand spanking)

    I'm with clarky!

    Sennheisers are definatley the best cans i have used. Really good sould quality, really nice and comfy, and VERY loud.

    Way better value for money than the Pioneers or the Sonys....piss on them too IMO.

    Well i've got the sony's and have used the pioneers amongst many others and im very happy with them. tho i guess its wot u're used to. My sony's have never had a problem and i dont treat them particulary well so they are doing ok

    ive had my mos ixos dj-1001s for 2 year now and they still work although some of the plastic headband joints have became brittle and snapped off but i take good care of mine, i like the hdj1000s and will buy a pair when i can be arsed :)

    i just ordered me new set of hdj1000`s, they got great volume, but mainly cos i like the big cups on them, currently got sont MDRV500`s, really good heaphone, but want something more powerful

    Cups on the HD25s get on my tits like, they're too small.

    Sony's are shite and fall to bits. Had my Pioneers nearly a year now and had no problems at all with em :)

    Ive got Technics RPDJ1210's and they can take alot of wear n tear, they dont have cups but the sound u get from em are incredible. Definately worth the money.

    they are big and heavy, but i like the way they bend in all sorts of positions, and they cover all of my ear, which i like, cos it helps with the bass response. Seiheissers are probably better quality tho.....
