    Best ever Promise?

    What would you say your best ever night has been at Promise?

    Or your top 3 if picking one is too hard.

    Mine would have to be;

    1) Paul Van Dyk cancellation night - Matt Hardwick was amazing!

    2) Ages ago when Max Graham, Matt Hardwick and Guy Ornadel all played, so many good tunes got played that night...ratty, flesh, kosheen...too many to mention!

    3)The first board meet up, I cant even remember who was on but when someone walks i with a crate of free beer you know it's a good night!

    The last weekly one was the best as far as music and atmosphere. At least thats the one I can remember most. My first ever Promise when Kerry James stood in for MIKE is special on a more personal level too.

    I've only been going for about a year and a half tho.

    Yeah, I remember the big atmosphere drop when Fleming came on playing prog after Hardwick's Trance. Still, I was bang into prog at the time, and he played some corkers.

    Kitikonti was awesome, I agree. Was hardly anyone there for the latter part of his set, club was nearly empty and it was fucking outstanding.
    M.I.K.E impressed me the most on that night though, dude's so versatile. Was playing Prog, Trance, Hard Trance, Techno... all sounded cool too :king:

    John 00 doesnt seem to have the following at promise that the other DJ's seem to get... dont really understand it - the man is a superb DJ.

    Maybe people think of him as one of the old generation of DJ's since he's been around so long? Or perhaps people just find PSY Trance and Driving Prog boring?

    Ahh well.

    Promise ever - was last year would have to be John Kelly at the b/day celebration pt 1. He was much awsome. For me any wez.

    Quality - last year was Lisa Lashes & Anne Savage. All me mates were in 1 room. Even people I hadn't seen in ages.

    Gotta dash, my gay lover awaits.:wink:

    Was also there for Eddie's debut, only had to depart 15 min into his set. Was well gutted. Atleast I shook his hand, I was as excited as a 10yr old girl off to a Westlife Concert. I nearly wet myself.:oops:

    Only the next night made up for it, at the Arena, much spangled:wiggle: was had the next night.
