Connery without a shadow of a doubt. Moore was a fucking clown imo. Craig looks like he's going to own the role, but it's hard to judge after just Casino Royale. But he's looking very promising.
Moore for me - but thats cause i grew up watching him in those late 70's early 80's action flick style bond movies - spy who loved me, moon raker, octopussy, live and let die - ok, so it's not true to the original flemming books blah blah blah - bollocks - they were class films and i loved the tongue in cheek he brought to it - although, he looks SOOO old in 'view to a kill' now Currently reading the new Bond book 'Devil May Cry' written to celebrate ian flemmings anniversary ( i got it for fathers day!!) - much more truer to the original books apparently. it's canny good

depends my opinions changed as i got older moore at first cos of the films like moonraker and spy who loved me, but connery was the better bond just the films were a bit hit and miss, dalton was more truer to the role as he was a bit more callous but he only made two films and one was average at best. lazenby got bundled with a shite film and was not able to do much with the plot. goldeneye was class as was brosnan but the rest have been cheese on toast and he went too smarmy. craigs gone back to a harder bond but CR wasnt much to shout about because of the plot. i cant really pick a fave
