You think Fergie's mind games worked?

What a fucking rant by Rafa and as if he had a dossier listing dates and occasions and refs who have gave a decision to Man Utd.

    Pressure got to him?

The best part is he says Fergie never gets punished then starts his next sentence saying "he intimidated the ref at hull and got a 2 game ban"

So he does get punished then?

It's reminiscent of Keegan loosing the plot.

Everyone know's Man Utd get away with stuff, but so doe Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. I've seen people defending him because he's stating "facts" but the concern is the fact he's let it get too him that much.

I saw it this afternoon when it was first aired on ssn and i was in creases laughing.

Not really a rant though was it? If you watch the interview carefully you see he is reading from a script. This was carefully timed. The reason - Rafa wants to give Chelsea a psychological advantage going into their game with the Man U this weekend.

Rafa clearly sees the greatest danger coming from Man U. We also know how well Utd manipulate the officials and the opposing teams, so Rafa is lending support to Scolari who doesn't have the ability nor the language skills to do it himself.

We'll see how things stand on Sunday evening anyhow.

Its obviously given Liverpool a great boost anyway with thier result tonight, before you know it Man United will be running away with the title. Theres no way Rafa can outwit Fergie with mind games because the old bastards the master at it

I would rather Liverpool won the league than Chelski / Man Utd / Arsenal to be honest regardless of the mind games at the min.

It's gonna be an interesting end to the season.

Id like to see Liverpool take it & also pleased Villa are doing so well, just so it proves you don't need the 'infinate cheque book' to compete these days.

...HOWEVER after yesterdays performance (ManU v LP) I honestly think ManU will take the title this season.

I picked Chelsea at the start of the season think i've fucked them up.

I have nothing against Liverpool and actually like watching them i just hate 99% their fans.

Everyone know's Rafa is right in what he is saying, nobody is denying that (however he did make the mistake saying Fergie's never punished when he did get banned this season) the fact's are though that everyone saw it coming and he even predicted Fergie would play mind games so why then get involved?

He knew it was coming and the reaction was over the top, he would have been best off just going on camera and saying Fergie's running scared as he knows were serious challengers for the title.

That would have put more confidence in his players, instead he had a rant, which had little effect, rotated his squad again fair enough the team he put out should have been able to beat Stoke and they dropped points. Doesn't help when your captain fantastic is strutting round the field like a show pony doing fuck all like Gerrard did on Saturday night.

Essien's immense, He was brilliant last year and you can see how much poorer they are without him. Problem they have now though is that you don't want to play him where Mikel plays as you loose him as a box to box player but Scolari seem's to bum Deco...

Personally when he's back i'd drop Ballack and get Lamaprd and Essien in the centre get rid of Mikel and get Anelka on the pitch as well as Drogba. Essien can let Lampard go forward and cover defensively as well as getting forward. Their midfield always looks too crowded.
