    Bellamy batters the Black Cats

The Hunchback scored twice tonight and then ran past the away support while pulling ugly faces on his ugly face

    Here here!

11 goals in 15 starts for Blackburn now. How we've missed him. They are in with a shout of a Champions league place now. Good work Souness.

Two best things he did for Blackburn
    1) leave them
    2) give them Bellamy on the cheap

Two worst things he did for Newcastle
    1) join us
    2) force Bellamy out
(though i could add many others)

Bellamy was an utter fucking cock.

He's a loose cannon, look at what happened with his quick exit from celtic and you'll see what i mean, he's an arrogant, overrated little shitbag who should have been drowned at birth. He's a good goalscorer, no denying it, but he doesn't have the team player mentality.

    correct, he is a cock

wrong about the rest of it, he dragged others up to his level at Newcastle, with his energy and movement, both with and without the ball

what quick exit from Celtic? he went on loan there, did superbly, his loan expired, they couldnt afford him, Blackburn came in

and tbh hes not even that good a goalscorer, he should get more, just a very good player

true he is probably tough to handle, but Bobby Robson, Martin O'Neill and Mark Hughes seem to have had few problems

What I'm referring to with Celtic is the fact that he pissed off quite a few people in the squad (and the fans). He'd made an off-hand comment to a defender during a game that he would "pay him more money to cut his lawn every week" than this defender to play football. This was about a week before John Hartson publicly went on record as saying Bellamy needed to "cool it".

He seems to have respect for Hughes, mainly because of the fact he used to be his coach for the national side. I haven't heard of the two of them having problems. To say that Robson's time with Bellamy was relatively trouble free however isn't exactly accurate, he spat the dummy out repeatedly after kluivert was signed, and Bobby went on record calling him the 'gobbiest' player he has ever worked with in his entire career.

To blame all of the problems with bellamy on souness isn't fair either, I'd forgotten about most of the carry on including bellamy "feigning" injury before that arsenal game, and then publicly calling Souness a liar over the whole thing, even though his team mates grassed him up for it ;) And thats before you get to his antics off the pitch (being involved in a very public brawl in a cardiff nightclub in 2003 and again this year).

I'm not denying for a moment that he's not a good player, when he was on form he was brilliant and he complemented Shearer at the time really well. But when it came to playing for the team (playing out of position, being dropped for someone who was in better form) all the toys came flying out the pram.

That kind of mentality doesn't help him and it certainly doesn't help the team, I still feel they did the right thing getting shot of him. He would be a truly great player if he could keep his mouth shut and concentrate on his football instead of his ego

never said he wasnt a cock as a person, infact i said he was

wrong, yes Bobby said was was a horrible gobby twat during the week but also said that he put up with it because he always produced on the pitch at the weekend, oh and that he was an excellent trainer

Souness wanted him out from day 1, simply because he didnt like him, ie putting personal feelings over the good of the team

he actually played close to 20 games on the right wing before he snapped, and could you remind me who was in better form?

next you will be saying Souness did a good job
