probably like alot of people on here, ive got 2 sets of friends the group who i go out clubbing with and the other group of lads who i go out on the piss with.

obviously the 2 groups never mix, because my beer boy mates really look down on people who take drugs of any form.

they all know that i go out clubbing and all the rest that comes with it , but because i never talk about it with them, i dont seem to have lost any respect from them.

its the whole thing of looking down on people who take drugs which makes me laugh. "why do you need to take drugs to enjoy your night?" they always ask

when all along there going out every wknd thursday to sunday drinking and smoking as much as there bodies can take.

surley these are the worst 2 drugs you could possibly take, apart from smack obviously, but because we grow up with these 2 drugs being legal and socially acceptable its ok.

the facts speak for themselves, thousands and thousands of people are dieing every year due to smoking and drinking compared to the numbers of people who die from recreational drug use wich is relatively small.

although i accept that no real studies have come up with any evidence of long term rec drug use causing damage in later life this doesn't mean it that it doesn't happen.

so in my opinion there no different from us clubbers, we both take drugs to somehow enhance our nights, accept theres is totally legal and can be taxed.

one of the worst things about drinking is all the violence and trouble that it causes

This bothers me also.

The fact that alcohol and smokes are legal make them socially acceptable, but would it be the case if (extreme I know) Heroin was legal?

Fair do's it fucks you up BUT so do drinking and smoking. If Heroin was legal and that was all we knew, would we look down on for instance (and quite relevan) Ket users?

Personally I imagine I'd find myself far more sociable and publicly acceptable after a few rums than after belting up and sticking a needle in my forearm...

Obviously I can't speak for everyone..

they just would'nt have have it that they use acceptable and legal drugs in any shape or form.

the other thing is they like to use the term druggie, as if we all sit at home on a wed night craving pills and the rest.
they dont understand the word recreational

The shouldnt knock drugs until theyve tried them if they dont try them then they should STFU imo
