After recent events, including my car having a staring (albeit very short) role in ITVs recent cop drama 'Lawless' Ever been an extra in a tv show? walked into the background while the filmed Byker grove or flicked V's up at Richard and Judy when they were at the albert dock in Liverpool? Stick down yer amusing stories here :

Here's one of mine :

They used to film Emmerdale Farm just down the woods from where i lived, in Esholt. They also used to film at my school. The twins that used to be on in late 80's/early 90's, a lad and a lass ( 1 died in the plane crash and 1 got pushed off ilkley moor by that nutter) pretended to come out of the art block, me and a mate had our bikes with us and we had to walk slowly behind them while they filmed a sequence like it was after school. while i pushed my bike and was holding the grip with just 2 fingers in a 'V'.. hehehe... what a rebel! Mi Nan was over the moon when she saw it but pointed out "you should have brushed your hair". They also sent out loads of flyer the weekend they filmed the plane crash, to warn us of "large pyrtechnics' that were going off in the valley. it were great, lad.


Oh, i was also at Yorkshire T.V. once for the old 'Telethon', their cheap version of Comic Relief and i was in the background while Rusty Lee was giving a piece to camera - she's great, she is... we need more of her on telly.

I've had a coupla spoken lines and also been an extra in a couple of shows (not telling which - is embarrasing... ); been interviewed a few times for the news on tyne tees, look north and central; gunged for Comic Relief in 99; being a psychotic and odd-looking audience member on a shitty cooking show (about 5 mins of me being :bonkers: and shouting stuff like "the daft bitch is cheating!" in a 25 min show...); haven't been on Crimestoppers yet so still awaiting my big break...

I was on Top Gear once when it was covering footage of the Pirelli International Rally...running down the side of the screen with my dad cos one of the guys crashed, was about a 3 second moment of glory

A point to add to that - they had to switch cameras quickly because I started off the huge gunge-fight which led to about 50 or so people getting chucked out of the NEC

And afterwards I got a brill photo with Griff Rhys-Jones and another with Kate Thornton
