    Bedrock - 'Emerald'

After being so impressed with Fretwell's Tripped Out remix of 'Bad Girl' by Paul Lancaster on Newcastle label Climax Recordings, John Digweed himself asked Tim to remix the forthcoming Pole Folder track "Dust", out in December on Bedrock.

John was so impressed with the remix that he now wants Tim's services for a remix on non-other than the new Bedrock track, Emerald, due out early 2003. Total respect goes out to both Tim, for getting such a project in the first place, and also to John for jumping on board our little Climax venture, which means so much to everyone involved here.

'Bad Girl' was my debut single for Climax in April and Tim Fretwell provided a remix for the flipside.

Fretwell's Tripped Out mix was played 2 wks in a row by John Digweed on his Friday night Kiss FM show and since then Tim has been asked to remix a couple of tracks for the Bedrock label.

I help run the Climax Recordings label in Newcastle as A&R Manager, DJ and producer alongside label manager and DJ James Wilson who you might know from Sunday Trading.
