Bastard NHS was meant to have surgury yesterday - hence me cancelling going to digital society, and the almighty return of adam to the north east. the bastard consultant (or in his case - con-sultan) had one look after me waiting hours and said "dear me, thats not what i expected" and rescheduled to next friday. MORE FUCKING PLANS CANCELLED. WHY FFS. and he also decides to mention that they may be a risk of losing half the feeling in the right side of my face - rendering my chops like stroke victim, and i may lose 90% or all of my hearing in one ear if they do it wrong. not a good month
you getting work on your ear mate? ive heard about the damage to face like if it doesnt go right... few weeks back i got jumped by pikeys who fractured my skull in 3 places. and left me half deaf in one ear. im awaiting my date with the specialist to get mine checked too cos my hearing is impared still. fuckers
SHUT THE FUCK UP MAN!!! Your health is more important than a few poxy club nights out. He has given you the info & made you aware of how serious the problem is, be calm & respectful. I hope it all works out next week
If it wasn't what the consultant expected he has to change his plans. They have tight schedules and unfortunatly for you that means that your operation has to be changed. Chin up mate, try not to worry about getting told about nerve damage, I got told I might of lost feeling around my jaw when I was getting my wisdoms surgically removed but nothing happened and I was fine, they just have to warn you of worst case scenarios to cover themselves because of the blame culture creeping in over here.
just over 2 weeks ago when i was working down kent. i foolishly decided to get lashed after a tough days graft... gravesend is a notably rough part of kent and i went on a random pub wander while shitfaced. woke up the following morning, vomitted blood, had been bleeding out of my ear.. was sure the police had dropped me off at the hospital, (which it turned out they did, after finding me by the side of the road... didnt take me to hospital though) had to phone myself an ambulance from the hotel. Irish cunt who robbed my phone decided it was humerous to phone my lass the following day to tell her she wont be seeing me again. so it shows that i was sparked out clean when they left me lol hearing is ropey which is annoying, cos i had to cancel my order of surround sound. since until i can hear properly, i wont really benefit haha My face dont look beat up or anything, had a black eye etc but thats cleared. Waiting til june to see a specialist about my hearing / head seems a long wait though so im gonna chaseit up tomorro
fucking hell bad shit that like chris mate i had the same thing happen to me where some cunt i was in college with went to crack me on the back of the head as a joke and i turned to speak to someone and he burst my ear drum the pain was just out of this world like!
Hopefully hearing will improve like, thats my main concern, rest of injuries are pretty much fine now, other than odd headache. roll on criminal injury claim. and potential court case against them police who thought the hotel was a better option for me.
