Barry Connell is absolutely immense, how many times did he steel the show and blow the roof off talltrees, and he was supposed to be just the warm-up...under-rated is an understatement! He looks to be just as good in studio as His new tune Twisted Vein is a future dancefloor destroyer.:wiggle:

He's definitely one of the most underated DJ's about, and one of my all time favourite sets av seen in a club was by him at Junior last year when he was on with O' Callaghan. He dropped Prodigy - No Good ( Start the Dance ) at the end and the place went fuckin mental! There's definitely a good few DJ's a can think of who are a lot better known and sought after than Connell, but from the little bit crack a had wif him he seemed lyk a sound lad nd am glad he's gettin a shot at it!

he played an electro set at the last trees, it was one of the most enjoyed of the night for me - because there was room to move on the dancefloor - and it was slightly pitched up :D

but i've seen him tire everyone out rather early on the "warm up" - shan does that sometimes too.

playing veracocha at the start of the night aint good.

Is that what they class warm up sets as nowadays?

what would be peak time in one club is warm up at another?

He sounds about as talented as Dave Pearce.

as he is so under-rated he is given shit set times, so i think in the end he decides to go with the majority of his best set anyway, regardless of what time he's on, thats why the "warm-up" sets are so full on, fair play to him tho, no-one can argue with the fact he is so eager to be higher up the bill, why should he change his style for an event manager unaware of the dj's on the bill...he plays a range of styles, and every time he is spot on, why shouldn't he be given a chance?
