Backroom Breaks.. what about introducing some breaks to the backroom, maybe for one night This could give the backroom a fresh new kick up the arse, breaks is the fresh sound flowing through clubland at the moment, with people like the Meat Katie, koma and bones, stanton warriors, Freq Nasty & Plump DJ's,i saw the Plump DJ's at the tribal gathering last week who just blew me away, not just me but the room that was jam packed with people all going off to the breaks they were playing. they were one of the stand out sets at the weekender The backroom is missing out, im telling you breaks is the way
Completely agree. Breaks is the way forward. THing is tho, I may want to be in back room more than main room.

we get about 10 varieties of hard in the main room as it is, as well as the odd bit of trance... can we PLEASE keep house in the backroom? I know all you Krazy Kids love BOSH!BOSH!BOSH! but not everyone does (inc me ) and sometimes I go to Promise to head straight upstairs and stay there, as do some others I know. On Fri when I left, downstairs was half-empty, upstairs was almost empty all night, so how do you think a different variety of BOSH! upstairs would help? All that will happen is that some ppl will go from down to up, but there will be no more ppl in the club, so silly really!

Re: Backroom Breaks.. Theres a certain new night started in Newcastle, not gonna name it 'cos I'm not advertising for it, thats had/got three out of those names on before christmas. Shame is its on a Friday too.
recently the always room has had less people than I have fingers and toes.... There can't be that many coming for it.... In my eyes PGR have the best balance of music (shame I prefer to how do u put it - bosh when I'm out, otherwise I'd spend more time in there.)
Thanks for the PGR support. We always try and play across the board the last thing that we want to do is be pigeon holded into just playing "funky house" or "breaks" or "disco". We just wanna play good tunes from whatever genre and make people dance!!
