AVIs, MPGs, VCDs, DVDs and stuff Right, was just interested on other people opinions on these solutions... 1) i've got loads of AVI format movies saved from my digital video camera.... however, some software won't let me burn them to DVD (i.e. TMPGEnc DVD Author) cause they're not converted properly - whats the BEST converter around to keep as much sound and video quality. stuff how much i can get on a DVD - i want to keep QUALITY to save my home movies* ( i reckon at best i can get about 60mins per DVD - which is fine) 2) MPG2 VCDs - What software would people reccommed for re-combining 2 VCD disks so the movie can be burnt to a DVD. Currently i'm spending ages copying the .DAT files to mi hard disk then trying to find some decent software to convert them to the .vobs etc... ideas?
